Recoiling at LYH Steel transforms heavy mother coils—sourced directly from first class mills—into customer-specified smaller coils. We ensure origin consistency, precision cutting, head/tail removal, and surface protection with interleaving paper and film. Our professional export packaging and container-loading services, including reinforcement for coils over 10 tons, guarantee safe delivery from our warehouse all the way to your destination port.
Direct Sourcing & Mother Coil Consistency
All our coils ship straight from first-tier mills such as TISCO, Baosteel, POSCO, and Tsingshan to LYH Steel’s warehouse, ensuring full traceability and uniform origin.
These mother coils arrive in mill-edge condition, weighing approximately 23 tons each—standard for large industrial coils.
Custom Recoiling & Surface Protection
Recoiling is a high-speed continuous process: slit or trimmed strips are rewound onto new cores to form smaller coils of your exact width and weight requirements.
We precisely remove the head and tail ends and trim strip edges burr-free for neat, uniform coils.
To protect surfaces, we apply interleaving paper, and optional protective films, preventing scratches during storage and transport.
Professional Export Packaging & Container Loading
Each coil is wrapped in waterproof kraft paper and steel coil skin, then secured on ISPM-compliant fumigated wooden pallets to prevent pest transfer and withstand handling stresses.
For container shipment, we use technical reinforcement methods—adding support beams and lashing—to prevent displacement or tipping, critical for coils exceeding 10 tons.
LYH Steel also offers one-stop logistics: from warehouse to port, our specialist team handles container loading and stowage, ensuring your coils arrive safely at the destination port without damage.
